The Assam RAMP programme supports youth in starting new MSMEs through training and mentoring, formalises unorganised enterprises via Udyam Registration, and enhances the performance of about 10,000 existing MSMEs through mentorship and exposure visits.

The Assam RAMP programme includes establishing a Make in Assam Support Centre for identified products, organising field-level workshops with technical experts, conducting vendor development programs for 500 MSMEs (with 10% focus on women-led units), and building capacity in market management, quality control, and export readiness.

The programme involves providing digital devices for field offices, upgrading IT infrastructure across DoI, DICs, CICs, and Block Offices, and developing an Integrated MSME Digital Command & Control Centre — a web portal offering MSMEs access to central and state schemes, chat support, and grievance redressal.

The Assam RAMP programme supports MSMEs through sustainability workshops, financial aid for energy audits, awareness on LEAN and ZED schemes, assistance for FSSAI licensing with reimbursements, and State MSME Excellence Awards.

The programme conducts capacity-building and financial literacy workshops for MSMEs, with a focus on women and SC/ST entrepreneurs, and organises knowledge-sharing sessions with NBFCs, PSUs, and ICAI (Assam Chapter).

The programme promotes market access by organising workshops on e-commerce platforms like GeM and MSME Bazaar, hosting Zila Udyam Samagam events for sector and district-level convergence, supporting MSME participation in national and international trade fairs free of cost, and setting up Assam Display Hangers to showcase MSME and heritage products.

The programme enhances institutional capacity through Management Development Programmes at IIM for executive officers, one-week training for Grade B officers by IIFT/IIE, onboarding Udyami Veer trainers for local MSME entrepreneurship sessions, and compulsory online training for DIC officials on entrepreneurship, management, and digital skills.
