The Pharmaceutical & Medical Devices Promotion and Development Scheme (PMPDS) is a sub-scheme of the Scheme for Strengthening of Pharmaceuticals Industry (SPI) aimed at supporting the overall growth and development of the pharmaceutical and medical devices sectors.

The scheme promotes industry advancement through studies and surveys, awareness and knowledge-sharing programs, conferences and exhibitions, creation of sectoral databases, and policy support initiatives.

PMPDS facilitates collaboration among industry, academia, and policymakers to strengthen the ecosystem, encourage investment, and support informed policy formulation for sustained development of the pharma and medical devices industries.

Eligibility

How to Apply?

For Study/Survey Reports: The PMC invites applications through an open and competitive bid.

It scrutinizes them and submits a recommendation to the SSC for approval.

For Seminars/Conferences: Eligible organizations must apply on an online portal at least 60 days before the proposed event, providing details about the event's theme, speakers, and venue.

The PMC scrutinizes the application and recommends it to the SSC for grant approval.
