The Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector serves as the engine of inclusive growth and the economic backbone of Assam. In alignment with the national vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat (Self-Reliant India), the Government of Assam is dedicated to nurturing a vibrant, resilient, and globally competitive MSME ecosystem that harnesses the unique strengths and opportunities of the North-Eastern region.

3% interest subsidy is provided for all eligible entities, reducing their effective interest rate.

To enable the effective setup and operation of these incubators, ASPIRE provides comprehensive funding support, including assistance of up to ₹1 crore for government agencies and up to ₹75 lakh for private agencies for plant and machinery.

To promote financial inclusion of tea garden workers, the State Government, during the financial year 2017–18, provided an incentive of ₹2,500 to tea garden workers whose bank accounts were opened after demonetization, i.e., between 9th May 2016 and 31st May 2018.
