Financial Support to MSMEs through Energy Audits

This component provides support to MSMEs for undertaking professional energy audits to assess energy consumption patterns and identify opportunities for improving energy efficiency. Energy audits serve as an important tool for understanding how energy is utilised within an enterprise and for identifying areas where energy consumption can be optimised without affecting productivity. Through this intervention, MSMEs will receive technical assistance to systematically evaluate their energy usage and improve operational efficiency. The energy audits will help enterprises identify energy inefficiencies and recommend practical, cost-effective measures for reducing energy consumption through the adoption of efficient technologies and improved operational practices. The findings of these audits will enable MSMEs to make informed decisions regarding energy management while promoting more efficient utilisation of available resources. By facilitating professional energy assessments, the component encourages enterprises to adopt energy-efficient technologies and sustainable operational practices. The primary objective of this component is to enable MSMEs to improve energy efficiency by identifying and implementing appropriate energy-saving measures through professional energy audits. The component also aims to encourage the adoption of energy-efficient technologies and informed energy management practices based on the recommendations generated through the audit process.
