Zila Udyam Samagam & State Udyam Samagam

This component seeks to provide MSMEs with structured platforms to showcase their products, explore market opportunities, and engage directly with key stakeholders involved in enterprise development. Through the organisation of District-level and State-level MSME expos, enterprises will be able to interact with Business Development Service Providers (BDSPs), technical experts, buyers, educational institutions, research organisations, and other support agencies. These interactions are intended to strengthen market linkages while promoting knowledge exchange and collaboration across the MSME ecosystem. These District and State level expos are specifically designed to promote convergence by creating opportunities for meaningful engagement between MSMEs and a wide range of stakeholders, including buyers, suppliers, service providers, and technical institutions. The expos provide an enabling environment for enterprises to showcase their products, gain market exposure, identify business opportunities, and access technical and business support services relevant to their growth. By facilitating interactions among enterprises, markets, and support institutions, the component seeks to strengthen the overall MSME ecosystem in Assam. The expos are expected to promote innovation, improve product quality, expand market access, and encourage collaborative partnerships that contribute to the sustainable growth and competitiveness of MSMEs across the State.

Objectives

The primary objective of this component is to provide MSMEs with opportunities to showcase their products, establish market linkages, and interact directly with buyers, Business Development Service Providers (BDSPs), and technical experts through organised District-level and State-level expos. These platforms are intended to strengthen market access while facilitating knowledge exchange and collaboration among key stakeholders supporting enterprise development.
The component also seeks to promote convergence by encouraging meaningful interactions between enterprises and institutions that provide technical expertise, market support, and business development services.
