This component focuses on the recruitment and deployment of dedicated trainers, designated as Udyami Veer, to provide structured mentorship and capacity-building support to entrepreneurs at the district level. The initiative seeks to establish a sustained mechanism for delivering practical guidance to aspiring and existing entrepreneurs through regular training programmes that address various aspects of enterprise development. By creating a network of trained mentors, the component aims to strengthen the entrepreneurial support ecosystem across the State. The Udyami Veers will impart knowledge on a broad range of business development topics, including entrepreneurship skills, financial management, marketing strategies, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance. Through regular interaction and hands-on mentoring, entrepreneurs will receive practical guidance that supports informed decision-making and improves their ability to establish, manage, and expand their enterprises. The structured mentoring approach is intended to build confidence among entrepreneurs while addressing common challenges faced during different stages of business development. By strengthening access to continuous mentorship, handholding support and practical business guidance at the district level, the component contributes to the development of capable entrepreneurs and sustainable enterprises. The initiative also supports the creation of a stronger entrepreneurial ecosystem by improving access to knowledge, building local capacities, and encouraging enterprise growth throughout Assam.
