Workshops for Interaction at Field Level with Technical Experts

This component is designed to create a structured platform for knowledge sharing, technical guidance, and collaboration between MSMEs and domain experts. The workshops aim to strengthen the capabilities of local enterprises by facilitating direct interaction with technical experts and technology providers, thereby enabling MSMEs to gain practical knowledge that supports enterprise development and promotes self-reliance. Sector-specific workshops will be organised across all districts of Assam to ensure broad outreach and accessibility for MSMEs operating in different regions of the State. Through these interactions, entrepreneurs will receive guidance on emerging technologies, innovation, new product development, and key technical concepts and design principles relevant to their enterprises. The intervention is intended to improve awareness of technological advancements while encouraging MSMEs to adopt innovative approaches that enhance product quality and competitiveness. By providing opportunities for regular engagement with technical experts, the intervention seeks to create an environment of continuous learning and knowledge exchange. The workshops are expected to strengthen the technical capabilities of MSMEs and support the development of a culture of innovation that contributes to long-term enterprise growth, improved competitiveness, and the promotion of domestic manufacturing within the State.

Objectives

The primary objective of this intervention is to empower local entrepreneurs by providing them with access to technical knowledge, expert guidance, and practical information required to improve the quality and competitiveness of their products, processes, etc. Through structured interactions with technical experts, the workshops seek to enhance the technological capabilities of MSMEs and encourage the adoption of improved production practices and innovative solutions.
The intervention aims to facilitate continuous learning by promoting awareness of new technologies, product development opportunities, and design principles that are relevant to the evolving needs of the manufacturing and service sectors. These workshops will provide MSMEs with practical insights that can help improve product quality, strengthen competitiveness, and support innovation-driven enterprise development.

Target Beneficiaries:

MSME entrepreneurs, artisans, startups etc., in multiple sectors across all districts of Assam.
