UNNATI provides three major financial incentives to eligible industrial units (maximum benefit: ₹250 crore per unit)

The Uttar Poorva Transformative Industrialization Scheme (UNNATI), 2024 is a flagship initiative of DPIIT, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, aimed at accelerating industrial development across the North Eastern States of India.

The scheme provides financial incentives to new and expanding manufacturing and service sector units to promote investment, job creation, and regional economic growth.

The scheme is valid for 10 years with 8 years of committed liabilities, and registration is open from 09-03-2024 to 31-03-2026.

Through a transparent, entirely online system, the scheme ensures timely registration, claim processing, and disbursal of incentives.

How to Apply?

Online Application Apply on the portal using the prescribed common application form (Annexure-1).

Verification by DIC DIC verifies documents and conducts a site visit. Officer geotags 3 photos of the unit.

DIC Recommendation GM, DIC forwards the verified application to the State Directorate.

Directorate Scrutiny Directorate processes and forwards to State Secretary-Level Committee.

State-Level Committee Recommendation Scrutinizes eligibility and recommends to DPIIT Level Committee.

6

DPIIT Approval DPIIT Committee grants final approval. Registration Certificate issued online (Annexure-7).
