Widely used in interiors, modular construction, and furniture manufacturing, they reduce dependence on hardwood and synthetic boards. This segment supports local MSMEs and value addition within the state. From a fiscal standpoint, applicable GST is levied, while exports are zero rated with RoDTEP eligibility; imports of hot presses, adhesives, and coating machinery may attract customs duty with industrial incentives.
